 In 1987, Silvino Moreira Lindo begun the supporting activity to small and middle size companies manufacturers of furniture, with the production of industrial heating, compressed air and fire piping. In 1990, Silvino Moreira Lindo decided to create SML - Silvino Lindo, Indústria de Secadores de Madeira, Lda. The company conceives, fabricates and installs its equipments for wood drying plants and for the finishing lines for wood industry. With more than 900 plants (75% of the Portuguese market), SML installs not only its wood drying systems and finishing lines for wood industry but also all the necessary peripheral systems so that it can be reached the good functioning of all its equipments (Industrial suction systems, dry and wet filters, silos equipped of automatic extractors, automatic boilers, heating systems, compressed air circuits, fire piping, etc…) The SML equipments can be visited in different countries in the European, African and American continents. In what concerns the international relations and for the total satisfaction of his clients of South America, SML concluded in 1999 a partnership with a Brazilian company called LEOGAP that manufacturers and transfers SML equipments to the MercoSouth markets. Recently, SML reinforced it presence in France through the acquirement of A.B.Hydromètres company, assuring this way a more direct intervention in the French market, as well as a stronger internationalisation of SML products. |
